The use case
What the model needs to do: answer staff questions from policy documents, draft reports, classify incoming correspondence or search contracts. We check whether a language model is the right tool for it at all.
Data location and sensitivity
Whether your data has to stay in Australia, in your own cloud tenancy or on your own servers, and which obligations apply, such as the Privacy Act, APRA CPS 234 or contract terms with your clients.
Deployment options
A hosted model in an Australian region, a model running in your Azure or AWS account, or an on-premises install. We compare them on cost, effort to run and what your IT team would need to look after.
Retrieval or fine-tuning
Most document assistants work best by searching your own files at question time. We explain when fine-tuning a model is worth the extra work and when it is not, using your examples.
Who should attend
The person who owns the problem, such as a head of operations, practice lead or knowledge manager, and someone who can speak for IT or security. If a privacy officer or risk team will need to approve the project, inviting them early avoids repeating the same questions later.
Before the call
Think of three or four real questions your staff would ask the system, and roughly how many documents it would need to search. Note where those documents are kept today and any rules about where data may be processed. If you already use ChatGPT, Copilot or another tool and it falls short, a short description of where it fails is useful.

Is the consultation free?
Yes. The 30-minute consultation has no charge and no obligation. A written architecture, security review or fixed quote is a separate piece of work that we agree with you first.
Who will I speak with?
A consultant from the Yes AI group, the Melbourne company that builds and supports Custom LLM. Your calendar invitation comes from the Yes AI team calendar and includes a video link.
Which times can I book?
Weekday starts from 9am to 6:30pm Melbourne time, so the call ends by 7pm, at least two hours ahead and not on Victorian public holidays. The picker shows each time in your own time zone, for example Brisbane (AEST) or Perth (AWST).
Should we share confidential material on the call?
No. Describe the documents and the questions people ask in general terms, or use a made-up example. If you need to show real material later, we can sign a confidentiality agreement first.
Can our IT or security team join?
Yes, and it usually saves a second meeting. Add their email addresses to the calendar invitation once it arrives, or mention them in the booking notes.
How do I change or cancel the booking?
Reply to the calendar invitation or call (03) 9003 0111. You will receive reminder emails before the call, plus an SMS if you give a mobile number.
